Tata Indicom Dial Up can be used anywhere across the country using your Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 User Name and Password or Value Cards. Handy internet access is just one of the things our Dial Up service offers. You can chat, access emails, surf and search for information and lots more.

Connect to the internet using a landline phone. Get roaming access from over 300 cities in India and over 160 countries across the globe. Tata Indicom Dial Up can also work as a backup to your Broadband connection.
 
Pricing
Standard charges of 10 paise per minute applicable across India. You can also subscribe to a Night Unlimited or 24X7 Unlimited plan as required.
  • Night Unlimited: Unlimited Dial Up access from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. for just Rs. 49 per month. Access during the day will be charged as per the standard tariff of 10 paise per minute. Standard PSTN charges will be applicable.

  • Unlimited 24X7: For just Rs. 149 per month you can get Unlimited Dial Up access from anywhere in India. Standard PSTN charges will be applicable.
 
Getting Started
  • Step 1
    You can use your Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 User Name and Password to access Dial Up. If you do not have a Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 account, you can buy a Value Card online and get started.

  • Step 2
    Download the Tata Indicom Dialer. To download the dialer, click here. You can also create a Dial Up connection on your computer.

  • Step 3
    To get connected, ensure that the port of your PC or your modem is connected to a wired
    telephone line. Once connected, open the dialer. Type your User Name and Password in the space provided and select the city from where you are dialing in.

    The internet access number for that city is automatically dialed. For help on the internet access number,

You will be connected to the internet post confirmation of your User Name and Password
 
Technical Requirements
Here's a checklist of the computer hardware and software you will need to setup and use this service
If you have PC you'll need:
  • A Pentium-class processor
  • Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP or Vista
  • A Dial Up modem (built in or external)
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 / Firefox
 
If you have a Mac you will need
  • Mac OS 9 or OS X
  • A Dial Up modem (built in or external)
  • Safari / Firefox
 
Basic Trouble Shooting Tips
VPN Connectivity

Sometimes VPN problems are resolved by using a public IP. If you need a public IP you will be provided with the same. This network is capable of supporting more than one user from the same organization connecting to the same VPN server. Please note that some VPN connections do not allow general browsing once VPN is connected. This may be restricted by your VPN administrator and the hotel may not be able to do anything about it. If you need assistance on VPN, please contact our help desk or contact your organization's VPN administrator.

Proxy Settings

Basic proxy settings can eliminate issues like 'not being able to connect'. Kindly follow the steps - In your internet browser, Go to Tools and select Internet Options
