Q1. What is the difference between Net Telephony & making an ISD call?

Ans.: Net Telephony is one of the ways to make an ISD call. A normal ISD call is made from a landline or a mobile phone. Net Telephony ISD call is made by dialing through a PC.

Q2. Will I be charged ISD rates on my telephone on using this service?

Ans.: No, you will not be charged ISD rates on your phone. You will charged only the following components:
  • Net Telephony Tariff – by Net Telephony from Tata Indicom
  • Internet Access charge - by Tata Indicom Broadband or your ISP
  • PSTN charge for local ISP connectivity - by your local BSO (if you are accessing the internet through a dial-up connection

Q4. Are there any hidden fees or charges?

Ans.: There are no hidden fees or charges. You just pay for the Net telephony call at the country rate per minute as defined in your rate plan.
