The following example will answer your question-
If you are activated on 10 th June , your first bill will be generated by 30th June and the breakup of the bill will be as follows-
Usage charges incurred during the period of 10 th June to 15 th June.
Pro-rata rentals during period 10 th June to 30 th June
Advance rentals for the following calendar period from 1 st July to 31 st July.
Your second bill will be generated by 31st July and the breakup of the bill will be as follows-
Usage charges incurred during the period of 16 th June to 15 th July.
Advance rentals for the following calendar period from 1 st August to 31 st August.
- When and how will I receive my bill ?
You will receive your bill latest by the 3rd of every month. The bill will be sent by email to your Tata Indicom Mail ID.
- By when is the Payment for the Tata Indicom Broadband bill due ?
You will have to pay your bills not later than 15 th the month
- Can I carry forward my unutilized usage to the next month?
In case you have opted for a Post-paid plan, you cannot carry forward your unutilized usage to the next month. You will have to use the monthly allotted free traffic or usage within that month itself. To avoid any unutilized usage, we request you to choose a plan that suits your requirements.

Will I be charged Monthly Charges even if my monthly Data traffic or total time spent on the Internet for the month is Zero?
You will be billed for Monthly Charges even if your monthly Data traffic or the total time spent on the Internet for the month is Zero.

Your Tata Indicom Broadband bill has been designed such that it is simple to read and all the charges are reflected clearly such that there are no hidden costs anywhere. Click here for details on how to read your Bill.
- Can I get a physical bill too?
We have introduced the Ebill to make it more convenient for our customers. No more receiving bills late. However, if you still wish to receive a physical bill, you will be charged a nominal amount of Rs.50 for the same. To place your request for a physical bill, please write to customerservice@vsnl.co.in or call the Customer Service number in your city.
