1. Why should I buy this service ?

Any computer connected to the internet is vulnerable to virus and hack attacks. Even while surfing the internet, your computer can unwittingly get infected with some spyware, malicious software which can steal your data. Frequently this leads to slow speed, and the hours that you have purchased, get over soon as without your knowledge, the spyware on your PC is using the internet connection to send and receive data.

2. How much will I have to pay for this service?

At present we have 2 plans:

1. A monthly plan which will cost you Rs.25 per month plus taxes @ 10.20%. so your bill will come to Rs.27.55 per month.
2. The yearly plan will cost you Rs. 250 plus taxes @ 10.20%. So your total bill will come to Rs. 275.5.

This is a special discount for VSNL subscribers only from the Rs.2500 which Trend retails in the market. You can subscribe by going to the PC Security page on the Tata Indicom Broadband portal and signing up.

For Pre-paid subscribers, the total will be deducted from the balance left and for post paid subscribers, the same will be added to your next monthly bill.

3. What will I get under this service ?

On subscription to this service, you will receive the Trend Pc-cillin 2005 Internet Security software package.

Depending on your subscription plan, monthly/yearly, you will be entitled free virus signature updates, new virus alerts, anti-spy ware signature alerts and any updates to the software for the period of the subscription.

4. I am a prepaid/postpaid, DSL/Ethernet, Dial-up/Broadband customer, am I eligible for this service ?

Currently this service is available only to our pre-paid & our post-paid DSL/Ethernet/ETH subscribers.We will soon be launching this service for our Dial - Up subscribers as well.

5. Can I Buy multiple licenses?

Yes, you can buy multiple licenses, during buying any one license, please check the Buy Multiple Licenses box, this will enable you to come back to the same page after buying a license. You will have to repeat this as many times as the licenses you need.

6. What is this auto-renew?

The Auto Renew option if ticked during purchase will ensure that your subscription gets automatically renewed every month as soon as your subscription ends.

If you want to manually renew your subscription, please leave this box unchecked.

This is for your convenience as you do not need to remember and renew every month.

7. Will I be charged for the download of the 38 MB software ?

Yes, you will be charged for the download, we suggest that you use a download accelerator software so that you do not have broken downloads.

8. My download stopped without completing, what should I do?

We suggest that you use a download accelerator to download the software. You can find many at www.download.com. We recommend Internet Download Accelerator. However you can use any other download accelerator that you prefer.

9. Is there any other way I can get the software?

We will soon introduce an option to order a CD containing the software. Till then you will need to download the software from our site.

10. Why are there no refunds on cancellation?

We are providing this service to you at over 90% discount. Hence we cannot offer any refunds at these low prices.

11. What is the cancellation policy, when can I cancel ?

You can cancel at any time you prefer. The cancellation policy is that you will not receive any refunds.

Please uninstall the Trend Pc-cillin software from your machine. You will not be able to download any updates after cancellation.
