Q8. What is the concept of 'Value' instead of units on Tata Indicom Broadband plans?

Ans.: Tata Indicom Broadband comes with an account value instead of a fixed number of hours or units of data transfer. The value helps you to use our value - added features - where on the same account value you can use Net telephony, Email Service, etc. You don't have to go anywhere to make a payment. You can do so by just using the value associated with your existing account.
For prepaid plans, this works on the similar principle as pre paid mobile value charge cards, where you can use the amount to either make a local call, or a long distance call or just use it to send SMS. The appropriate amount will be debited from your account.

In the case of postpaid plans, the value used will be reflected in your monthly statement.
