Ans.: Your Dial up service automatically gets activated when you register for the broadband service. In case the dial up service is not activated by default, you need to activate the same. For activation of dial up service go to the website/My Account/My Services and choose Dial up activation. The password for accessing the Dial up service is same as the broadband access password.

Ans.: Once you have activated the Dial up service (if not already default activated), you need to download the Tata Indicom Internet dialer. Click here to download
After downloading the dialer you can start using the same for accessing the Internet.

Ans.: No. Once you have activated Dial up you cannot deactivate the dial up service. Your dial up service will be deactivated at the time of deactivation of broadband service.

Ans.: You will be charged at the flat rate of Rs 8/- per hour for Internet access (service tax extra). Telephone charges for the Internet sessions would be as per the applicable rates of the Basic Telephone Service Provider.

Ans.: You will be billed for Dial up usage in your Tata Indicom Broadband Monthly bill. The charges will be indicated under “Value Added Services” within the “Current charges” section in the bill.

Ans.: Tata Indicom rates your dial up usage on a per second basis so that you pay only for the amount of usage incurred. Ans.: If you forget the Dial up Internet password you can answer the secret question configured by you. If you have forgotten the answer to your secret question call the Customer Service number in your city.
Please note that since your Dial up & Broadband passwords are same, you will also not be able to access Broadband if you have forgotten the password.
